This year’s Hike the Pipe turned out great! People showing up from all across the galaxy to hike the pipe with us. People of all ages, all skill-levels, and with a a slight drizzle of fresh snow and blue skies made this day 10 out of 10.
Oslo Vinter Park prepared the best mini pipe in years (thank you Jonathan). Samuel, Klerud and Emil Mo took the responsibility of setting up a rainbow rail on the frontside wall to spice things up, which turned out to be a great feature for a good session.
There was a lot of good energy, smiles og big sends from start to finish. Ståle Sandbech, Markus Olimstad, Johannes Taklo and Markus Rusta kept pushing the levels from the start. Then in the middle of a good session, out of the blue, a masked legend dropped in unannounced boosting higher than all – Probably higher 15 chihuahuas stacked on top of each other to be exact. Terje Håkonsen showed everyone that the oldest will always be the bestest.
We are very grateful that everyone showed up for a great day filled with good vibes, great methods and amazing handplants. There was a lot of other good and well earned achievements and prizes, but hey, it’s not a contest. Everyone who showed up was a winner.
